Abstract

|
Upon occurrence of novel and variant infectious diseases, crisis in international public health has been intensified and accordingly, the interest and importance in quarantine have been increased due to continuous increase of foreign tourists and expansion of international exchange. After the occurrence of the first MERS confirmed patient in Korea in May 2015 and its national expansion, it was necessary to supplement the limits of existing quarantine system and reinforce quarantine and management of entrants. This study aims to introduce an alterated Quarantine System since MERS outbreak in Korea.
